One Hundred and Ten Percent
So I just got in from my first run this week since Sunday. I've been sick, too sick to run, and my insides feel all torn up, but it's probably only because half of everything I've consumed this week has been Tropicana orange juice... Still I was surprised just how hard everyone else got hit too. I'm going to post our email thread from Thursday (as a comment to this post) because I think it's pretty awe-inspiring...

The following are a series of emails all sent the morning of Thursday, September 20th - five days after RTB. Most of the responses to Kent's original message were sent before 10am...
Kent: Hey guys sorry I haven't responded to many of your emails, but I have also been under the weather. I have been out of the office since Monday and finally returned today. I'm not sure if it was Migonis or Hogan or the fact that I got rained on by buckets of water, but man did I feel like crap for 4 or so days. The soreness left after Monday, but haven't been out on a run since Monday night because of feeling so crappy.
Once again it was a blast! I can't wait until next year so we can kick NewBalance butt!

Sammy: I hear you Kent. I'm so sick I haven't run at all since my three mile jog with the Todds on Sunday. I'm confident I am no longer sore, but I ache all over. I'm pretty sure I can "blame it on the rain" (should we add that song to next year's CD?).
Maybe we should go after a Nike sponsorship? Leave Nothing.

AM: Feel better guys! This morning I woke up with the full blown cold that I think Hogan had... Oh well!
==
Liz: yep I'm sick also.... i'm convinced it's all the germs that were passed through our van from the psych dept at the burlington hospital and from the kids at ruby's day care. and maybe the rain... or just because we ran to darn fast. on a mission to be better by the weekend.
cheers

Hogan: Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one who feels like complete poo this week. And I thought it was just from my indiscretions of staying out all night Sat in Boston, or withdrawal from hanging out
with all of you last week. Oh well, hope everyone feels better soon!

Migonis: I ran 10 miles today and 4 yesterday. My legs don't like me and they want me to stop running. At least my cold is almost gone.
==
Amy F.: You guys are pansies. Alka Seltzer and Airborne have been keeping my cold right on the edge of disaster until yesterday morning when it really started to break. I think I might have delayed delayed DOMS b/c my legs aren't fighting against me yet and I'm on track for a 75 mile week:) I wish I had a video of Migonis walking!
I want you all to know I'm an ass for sending that message and I got karma'd by locking my keys in my running car yesterday morning on the way to work! You're not pansies, you're my heroes! LYLAS
